DAY 1:

Arrival at Tamanrasset airport.

About 15 minutes transfer time.

Arrival in Tamanrasset, welcome at the airport, transfer and accommodation in a hostel or hotel.

DAY 2 :

Tamanrasset - Erg Belguerdane

After a short stop in town, stroll through the souk for some shopping, departure by 4X4 on the Transsaharienne to the north, lunch on the way. After the Arak Gorge, we arrive at Erg Belguerdane, where we meet our camel drivers. Set up your bivouac, and allow 5 to 6 hours for this day's 4X4 drive.

DAY 3 :

Erg Belguerdane - Tit n'Taghaldjé

Start your meharée towards the Takembaret massif, a panorama of plains and lunar landscapes as far as the eye can see. This is the boundary between the two Tassilis of Immidir to the east and Ahnet to the west. Setting up camp at Tit n'Taghaldjé. For this day, you'll need to allow about 4 to 5 hours' walking.

DAY 4 :

Tit n'Taghaldjé - Tihoulaouine

Climb a pass to lose yourself in the labyrinths of the Arakoukem. Discover beautiful rock paintings far from the beaten track. Lunch and in the afternoon, descent of the Takembaret gorges, visit of a water well, before arriving at the large Tihoulaouine dunes. We set up our bivouac. Approximately 4 to 5 h of walking for this day.

DAY 5 :

Tiloulaouine - Adjaladjal

Through the meandering Oued Tibaradine, we continue our camel trek to explore the magnificent sites of In Ana and Adjaladjal. We set up our bivouac. This day's trek takes around 4 to 5 hours.

DAY 6 :

Adjaladjal - Erg Mehedjibet

Leaving Adjaladjal, we cross the Oued Itallene, from where we can see the Erg Mehedjibet massif of large dunes in the distance, and set up camp at the foot of the Erg. This day's walk takes around 4 to 5 hours.

DAY 7 :

Erg Mehedjibet - In Ana

Walk along the dunes, at the pace of the caravan, before heading into the Tassili de Tim-Meskis to enjoy the morning light. Lunch at the well and in the afternoon, visit the rock paintings at In Ana, set up camp. End of camel trek. This day's trek takes around 4 to 5 hours.

DAY 8 :

In Ana - Tamanrasset

Early morning, departure by 4X4 on the road back to Tamanrasset. Arrival early afternoon, refreshments and afternoon at leisure. Overnight in hostel or hotel. 5 to 6 h of 4x4 for this day.

DAY 9 :

Tamanrasset

Approx. 15-minute transfer.

Transfer to the airport and return flight to Algiers or Paris.
